September 2011 From Chris' Heart by Chris Harris Last Sunday Ariel Chapel celebrated our fifth year birthday. Can you believe it? Nick and I have been totally amazed at what God continues to put in place. That is what has been so special about the Chapel. We just do our very best to listen and stay focused on Him and where He wants to take us, and then we go with it. We do our best to not get ahead of where He is leading us, but watch also not to lack behind. We did just that this last week, when the ladies of Ariel Chapel gathered together to form the "ARIEL PRIDE". I must say in the beginning I found myself holding back and asking God...really? I honestly thought my days of leading and participating in women’s groups was over, but here I am. I found that the decision was quite obvious for us. God has blessed our Chapel with many gifted teachers of the Word, and women who are hungry for just that. Also, we have women who are excited about serving Him in any way He leads them. But the most important reason for moving forward with this ministry is that we have a pastor who believes that when women say they will pray for you and for others, they will! So, here we go. I am so excited to see what God has planned for us, and look forward to just that. Our prayer is that we will be found pleasing in His sight and bring only honor to His name.
