June 2008 From Chris' Heart by Chris Harris Well, another month has gone by and as I said in the last Roar, I have much to be thankful for. First of all, our ninth grandbaby was born to our youngest son and his precious wife. Jamie and Stephanie are thrilled with their new baby girl. They named her Blake Lulabelle, and her big brothers, Max and Zeke are quite taken with her. Nick made it home from Israel and was pretty worn out after traveling with Brian and his son Michael. I think Nick was determined that Michael would see everything that Nick has managed to see over all the many times he has been. He had many stories to share with anyone who would listen, however, Nick’s first stop coming home from the airport, was Mercy hospital to see his new granddaughter. And last but certainly not least, after six weeks Momma is walking with her cane and looking forward to being released from her doctor’s care next week. Her surgery was successful, and her new hip will give her many more years of use. The only problem now is me trying to keep up with her.
