January 2007 From Chris' Heart by Chris Harris Christmas 2006 at the Harris’s home was just wonderful! All our family traditions were met and enjoyed once again. The kids and all their kids were here on the 23rd as we celebrated Nick’s 66th birthday. We were finally able to get our family picture that evening. It gets harder and harder as our family grows to be able to have everyone here at the same time to do that. Wow! On Christmas Eve morning we celebrated the birth of Jesus at Ariel Chapel and again that evening with a beautiful Candle Light Communion service at Grace Church. Amy and her boys sang at this service. That same evening we had our traditional meal and were joined by two new and special friends, and Christmas morning was quite a sight when they were all back again to open gifts and help us eat up all the delicious left-overs. Our “Crystal’s Christmas Candies” store was a phenomenal success this year, and other than a flood caused by an old hot water tank, Christmas was absolutely perfect! Even with that we were so blessed. Nick and I pray that the year 2007 will bring blessings immeasurably to you and to yours.
