April 2008 From Chris' Heart by Chris Harris What a blessed time we have had this last month. The trip to Israel could not have been more wonderful! We have never seen the country more green and beautiful. It is always so exciting watching others see Israel for the first time. It is like reliving my first trip again. Then coming home to spring is so nice. I love this time of year. All my trees were blooming and my garden was filled with plants peeking their little heads up. Easter Sunday was three days after we got home, so you know me, I had lots to get done. We had communion service at the Chapel on Maundy Thursday and were truly blessed by the attendance. Easter Sunday was also special as we celebrated with a full house. Once again this year the Harris house was filled with our children and their children and Momma. We also had close friends here this year including the Coffee family: Justin and Courtney, and their four children. They all joined the Easter egg hunt in the back yard with the same determination to locate all the golden eggs first. You remember, they are the ones with the money inside. We were blessed beyond words this month in Africa, in Israel, at the Chapel, and in our home. I am so very thankful for His love and I praise Him for all He has done.
