November 2009 Loaves and Fishes: Second Half of the Life of Moses Starts in January by Nick Harris Over the past two years, Pastor Harris has been teaching on the life of Moses. The study began prior to the birth of Moses and has continued until Moses and the children arrived at Mount Sinai, where Moses was given the law of God. For the next several years, Pastor will be teaching about those things that happened and the revelations God provided while Moses was alone with Him on that holy mountain. First, we will examine the moral law that God gave to Moses, the laws we call the Ten Commandments. Next, we will study the instructions that God gave to Moses concerning the construction of the Tabernacle in the Wilderness. We will examine its furnishings, its fences, its entries, and everything else associated with the Tabernacle. We will discover that everything associated with the Tabernacle had hidden meanings. From there, we will study the various feasts of Israel. We will see that each of Israel’s seven feasts are focused in some way upon either Jesus Christ or his church. Then, the study will conclude with an examination of the priesthood of Israel, including the mysterious "priesthood of Melchizedek."
